NAME: Tamagotchi SYSTEM: Game Boy MAKER: Bandai PRODUCER: no idea GENRE: Virtual Pet GRAPHICS: 3. The Tomagotchi look like ink blots MUSIC: 1. More annoying than nessecary FUN: 4. It's not my cup of tea REPLAY: 2. Uh... you can choose different eggs, but that's it DIFFICULTY: 7. Gets frantic with three Tamagotchi at a time ENDING: n/a STORYLINE: n/a MULTIPLAYER: n/a (again) ORIGINALITY: 4. The Japanese Gigapet REALISM: 1. They're not even real creatures, for God's sake CONTROL: 5. Menu-based, but still bad MATURITY: 1. It looks like it was drawn by a three-year-old Ugh. I really can't see where Nintendo's coming from, relesing this (even if it was made at the peak of Tamagotchimania). You'd have to be a die-hard Tamagotchi fan to like this. The graphics are so simple they could make you weep over the waste of the Game Boy's power, the music isn't worth listening to, and it's just not that great. Sure, there are a few good parts, like multiple Tamagotchi or the tournaments, but they hardly compensate. I reccomend saving yourself $15 and getting a keychain version, if any at all.
